To the eyelash curler anon: Eyelash curlers work for you based their similairty to shape of you eye. The Revlon curlers are probably more curved like the curve of your eye and Shu or Shisedo one could be wider or flatter than your eye.
^^ There we go :)
Thank you another anon for helping me answer the first anon’s question :D
I've tried Revlon, Shu Uemura, and Shiseido eyelash curlers, my favorite of which being Revlon, which makes me feel like a beauty pariah. Shu and Shiseido just bend my lashes and pinch. I know they're not fakes because I got the Shu from their website and the Shiseido from Sephora. Could I be doing something wrong or could they just be wrong for my eyes? Is there a curler comparable to the Revlon one but of better quality?
I am pretty sure that you are not doing anything wrong when curling your eyelashes, maybe they are just not your type :)
Have you tried Tweezerman’s Deluxe Classic Eyelash Curler? (LINK) I do not know if it is better than Shiseido’s or Revlon’s but I know that it is more or less on the same level :)
Hey I am just started out with makeup and have already got the basics like mascara eyeliner powder foundation eyeshadow eg (you know what I am talking about!) and I am 12 years old is there any other basic items that I need And do you think that I need to wear a primer please just list everything that you think I will need thanks a lot xxx ❤ Becky please follow me thanks I am following u and I am new to all of this thanks Bye xxxx
Well, here is a list of things you might want to consider adding to your makeup kit :D
-Foundation -Concealer -Eyeshadows, (Highlights, contours and lid colors.) -Eyeliner -Mascara -Lip liner -Lipstick -Blush -Bronzer -Tweezers -Blush brush -Eye Shader brush (for lid and for blending) -Eye Contour (crease of the eye) -Angled Eye Shader (for eyeliner) -Foundation brush -Brow brush to make your eyebrows neat
A primer basically smooths out your face and allows makeup to last longer.
So it is up to you to decide if you need the primer or not :)
Do you recommend wearing eyeliner in your waterline for just an everyday/casual look? I put some on my waterline today along with mascara and eye shadow and my mom thinks it looks bad. Literally whenever I wear eyeliner (which is very rarely) she comments on how bad it looks and it makes me feel self-conscious about it. The eyeliner doesn't smear or anything and I like the way it looks, but do you think it stands out too much to wear it casually? Thanks :)
Hii! I think it depends on what kind of eye you have (sounds weird i know :) )
If you have small eyes, I’d rather avoid putting the eyeliner on the waterline, since it makes them look smaller. Instead, put the eyeliner on the upper lash line :)
If you have big eyes, then DO put the eyeliner on the waterline, it makes them stand out more :D
But in general, I do not think eyeliner stands out that much, so you can wear it casually :P
